United for Ukraine

On Sunday, August 24, 2025 at 3:00 PM, we will gather at Senate Square in Helsinki to show our strong and unwavering support for Ukraine. Together, we will send a powerful message of solidarity with a country fighting for its freedom and independence.

 The sunflower is Ukraine’s national flower, and we invite you – as in previous years – to bring sunflowers with you, so we can turn the square into a magnificent yellow sea of blooms!

After the event, you are welcome to take a sunflower offered by the organizers, and, if you wish, make a small donation to support Ukraine.

By coming together and filling Senate Square with sunflowers, we will show the whole world that we stand with Ukraine – today and every day.

Ukraine needs all of us. Every person’s participation matters. So please come with your family and friends, and help spread the word about this event in your networks.
