As in previous years, the sunflower will be the symbol of our event. We warmly encourage you to bring flowers with you. Sunflowers will also be distributed at the square during the event.
You can support Ukraine by making a small donation to the Ukrainian Association in Finland and Finn Church Aid. Donations can be made easily at the event.
The programme will include Ukrainian music and a performance by a Ukrainian children’s dance group. Representatives of the Finnish state leadership and members of the diplomatic corps are also expected to attend.
After the event at Senate Square, we will walk together in a procession to Kansalaistori, carrying a large 30-metre Ukrainian flag.
Today, Ukraine needs the support of all of us more than ever. Every person’s participation matters. Please bring your family and friends and share information about the event within your own networks.
Thank you warmly, and we look forward to seeing you at the square![]()
