‘It’s not only the ribbons. Ukraine and Ukrainians are in our hearts. There is a lot of darkness, but we have to see the light at the end’, – said Nasima Razmyar, Helsinki deputy mayor, as she greeted guests at holiday reception at City Hall.
The Christmas programme, highlighting Ukrainian culture, included a beautiful performance by Maryna Kramarenko (piano) and Sofiia Yakovyshyna (vocals).
The Ukrainian Association in Finland is grateful to the mayor of Helsinki Juhana Vartiainen and Nasima Razmyar and her team who recognized our work in supporting Ukraine. Looking forward to further cooperation with the City of Helsinki.
