Join us for a special event on Senate Square to honor Ukraine’s Independence Day. Let’s come together in a powerful display of unity and unwavering support for Ukraine during these challenging times.
Highlights of the Event:
Filling the square with sunflowers: The sunflower, Ukraine’s national flower, will be the symbol of our event. We encourage everyone to bring sunflowers with them. Flowers will be also distributed on the square for a donation, with all proceeds going to support Ukraine.
Singing Together: Join in singing of Ukrainian and Finnish songs to showcase our collective support and solidarity.
Celebrating Unity: Stand with fellow supporters in a shared commitment to Ukraine’s freedom and independence.
Your presence and participation will make a significant impact. Let’s fill Senate Square with the vibrant colors of sunflowers and the harmonious sound of our voices united. Spread the word about the event, come with family and friends!
The event is organised by the Ukrainian Association in Finland, Lutheran Church in Helsinki, and Mothersforpeace in cooperation with the City of Helsinki, the University of Helsinki and the Embassy of Ukraine in Finland.
