The Ukrainian Association in Finland is excited to invite you to unforgettable concert of the
Ukrainian Shchedryk Youth Choir.
Named after the iconic carol “Carol of the Bells,” Shchedryk is a renowned youth choir founded in Kyiv in 1971.
Over the decades, it has earned international acclaim, winning prestigious awards such as the Golden David Grand Prix at the 7th Florence International Choir Festival in Italy in 2018. Shchedryk has graced many of the world’s most distinguished stages, including Carnegie Hall, the Berliner Philharmonie’s Chamber Hall, Vienna’s Musikverein, and numerous other prestigious venues, solidifying its reputation as one of the finest youth choirs globally. This November, Shchedryk will be making its Finnish debut.
The concert is being supported by the Ministry of Education and Culture, Olli and Panu Parviainen, Helsinki city and Kordelin foundation.
