Lviv International Symphony Orchestra – INSO-Lviv at Fiskars Summer Festival 2023

We say – culture matters! Thus, we are happy to announce that Lviv International Symphony Orchestra – INSO-Lviv will take part in Fiskars Summer Festival 2023 (29th July – 6th August).

The festival will start with the chamber music concert “Honouring Ukraine” on July 31:

B.Lyatoshynsky – String Quartet No.4, Op.43
D.Tabakova – The Smile of the Flamboyant Wings for String Quartet
R.Glière – String Octet in D Major, Op.5

Musicians from Lviv will take part in all the activities planned for the young musicians participating in the festival week:

-playing in the conductors’ masterclass, led by Jukka-Pekka Saraste, Esa-Pekka Salonen, James Gaffigan and Dalia Stasevska;
-taking part in all rehearsals for the public concerts.

As well as playing in three public orchestra concerts with Fiskars Festival Orchestra:

August 3 – Karja-Lohja Church, 
August 4 – Puimala, Fiskars,
August 6 – Iso-Paja, Billnäs.
