On February 20 Ukraine marks the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred

In Ukraine, this day, February 20, marks  the Day of the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred, those participants of the Revolution of Dignity, who died at the hands of security forces and their mercenaries.

The official number of those who became a Heavenly Hundred is 107 people. People of different nationalities, ages, education, from all regions of Ukraine and abroad, successful entrepreneurs and poor retirees, scientists, artists, students… The youngest, Nazarii Voytovych, was only 17. The oldest, was 82 years old  Ivan Nakonechny (according to the Maidan Museum )

PLAST in Finland honored the Heroes of the Heavenly Hundred during the “Angels of Memory” campaign. Wherever we are, we remember everyone who gave their lives for Ukraine!
