09.03.2024The Finnish Museum of Photography now has an Ukrainian audio guide
We are also happy to announce that the Ukrainian Association in Finland has joined the project. The audio guide was created for the Etsin (“Viewfinder”) permanent exhibition. Listening to it, you will learn not only about the history of photography, but also about an important episode of cultural ties between our countries: the legendary Ukrainian theater actress Maria Zankovetska’s stay in Finland.
What a way to celebrate the 170th anniversary of her birth!
We invite Ukrainians to visit the Finnish Museum of Photography (Kaapelitehdas Kaapeliaukio 3, G-rappu, 00180 Helsinki), which has kindly introduced free entry upon showing a Ukrainian passport.

The project was implemented on the initiative of the First Lady of Ukraine Olena Zelenska and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Finland and Iceland with a grant from the Finnish Museums Association.
