We Help Music School Students in Ukraine

At the beginning of October 2024, the Ukrainian Association in Finland carried out a charity project in support of music schools in Ukraine. Cultural project coordinator Iryna Gorkun-Silen handed over musical instruments and accessories to the following educational institutions:

Makariv Music School

Sumy Music School

Kharkiv Music College named after B.M. Lyatoshynskyi

Irpin Music School

Balakliya music school

Music schools of the city of Kyiv (№3, №27, №28)

M. Lysenko Music Lyceum, Kyiv

and to the Lviv Children’s Orchestra

In total, the schools received:

two cellos

one viola

5 violins

two trumpets

two flutes

3 additional violin bows

numerous sheet music

music stands

violin, viola, and cello strings

and other musical accessories.

The Ukrainian Association is sincerely grateful to all donors who provided instruments and musical supplies. Special thanks to Ihor Skrypnyk for help with transportation, to the artistic director of the 1991_project_official project, Anna Stavychenko, for her support and cooperation, as well as to everyone who participated in the implementation of this project.
