Klassisen musiikin konsertti Suomenlinnassa: Rauha Ukrainalle

Ystävät, tervetuloa 18. lokakuuta Suomenlinnan kirkkoon kokemaan ainutlaatuista konserttia, jossa kuullaan ukrainalaisten ja suomalaisten säveltäjien mestariteoksia huilulle, pianolle ja  baritonille.

About musicians:

Volodymyr Andrushchak baritone. Volodymyr studied at the Lviv National Music Academy, the Wrocław Academy of Music, and the University of Music and Performing Arts Munich. As a soloist, he has collaborated with ensembles such as a’capella Leopolis, Camerata Silesia, Cantores Minores Wratislaviensis, as well as with the renowned theatre company Song of the Goat. In 2022, he created a solo music performance based on the poetry of Hryhorii Skovoroda and the music of Maciej Rychły. He now performs with baroque ensembles, including the Wrocław Baroque Ensemble. In 2025, he became a finalist and jury prize winner at the prestigious Toivo Kuula Vocal Competition in Finland.

Iryna Gorkun-Silén, flute. Ukrainian-born flutist Iryna Gorkun-Silen is an accomplished musician whose career spans solo, chamber, and orchestral performances across Europe, the USA, and South Korea. She holds Master of Arts and Master of Pedagogy degrees from the Zurich University of the Arts (ZHdK) and completed her doctoral studies at the Sibelius Academy’s DocMus Department in 2025.

A prizewinner of international competitions such as Léopold Bellan and Amiens, she has also studied with renowned flutists including Emmanuel Pahud, Peter-Lukas Graf, and Sir James Galway. Alongside her performance career, Iryna works as a cultural coordinator at the Ukrainian Association in Finland, promoting Ukrainian culture and intercultural dialogue.

Kirill Kozlovski is a pianist, harpsichordist and researcher. As a performing artist he aims at versatility and careful balance between different styles and epochs. His repertoire encompasses music from the late Renaissance to contemporary composers. A laureate of both national and international piano competitions, Kirill Kozlovski has given solo recitals and been a member of chamber ensembles at international festivals in France, Germany, Switzerland, Russia, Estonia, Spain, Finland and Belarus. He has appeared as a soloist with orchestras in Finland and abroad, collaborating with conductors such as Andris Nelsons, Janos Fürst, Dima Slobodeniouk, John Storgårds and Klaus Mäkelä to name but a few.

His recordings include the complete piano music by Yuri Shaporin (Toccata Classics), songs by Richard Wagner with the soprano Jenni Lättilä and the baritone Tommi Hakala (Siba Records), and a solo-piano album, Shostakovich in Context, combining preludes and fugues by Dmitri Shostakovich with Finnish contemporary music (Pilfink Records).
